The Royal Institute of British Architects was founded in 1834 for the advancement of architecture. We do not receive any government funding so rely heavily on additional income from sponsorship, grants and donations to supplement Member subscriptions and income from our charitable trading operations. We need your support more than ever to meet the fundraising challenges of 2009 and beyond.
There are many ways to support the RIBA including:
The RIBA's extensive program of awards, education, exhibitions, talks and lectures offers many sponsorship opportunities. The RIBA brand profile gives unparalleled access to sponsors who wish to reach architects, the wider construction industry, government departments, public agencies as well as a design conscious public, both nationally and internationally.
Individual donations support a wide range of our activities including acquisitions to support the unique collection of the RIBA British Architectural Library, education programmes, lectures and exhibitions, conservation work and research.
We are currently developing a Friends of the RIBA scheme. Join today and enjoy a year round association with the RIBA.
The 400 members of the RIBA CPD Providers Network offer architects and other construction professionals genuine, high-quality CPD material.
Network providers offer seminars, books, design guides, CD-ROMS, videos and plant visits.
