Education is paramount to the RIBA.
Getting young people from all backgrounds interested in architecture now can help
a better profession and a better future for
all of us.
Working with professional architects in
schools, the RIBA is helping to inspire and support the designers of tomorrow. We are also taking action to increase the number
of women and other under-represented
groups in architecture. We are keeping
standards of teaching high by assessing and validating architectural degree courses at British universities and many overseas and, through our funding schemes and awards, we support and reward architectural education and research.
And our support for professionals – CPD, technical back-up, information and advice and regional services – keeps them practising at the highest level and maintaining their competence.
