Edward Williams is an architect and runs his own practice in West London. He established Edward Williams Architects in 2011 after 20 years at Hopkins Architects where he was a partner and involved in key projects including Glyndebourne Opera House, Goodwood Racecourse, WellcomeTrust, Princeton University Chemistry Faculty Building and the Macmillan Cancer Centre at UCLH.
From 2002 to 2010 he was a board director and trustee of Bedales Schools where chaired the BUildings Sub-Committee and oversaw a major architectural competition and successful development for the school,
Edward Studied at Bedales School and Jesus College Cambridge, and then Oxford Brookes University. His interests including sailing, gardening, avocado farming and contemporary art. He is a member of the Worshipful Company of Skinners and of the Oxford and Cambridge Club.
Edward is the RIBA Honorary Librarian and Chair of the RIBA Library Committee.
