Andrew Salter

Andrew was RIBA Vice President Membership 2007-2009, and is currently the RIBA's Honorary Secretary. He is a Director of RIBA Holdings Board, and was previously Director of the RIBA's Professional Services Board. A former chairman of RIBA South, he is Conservation Principal at Acanthus Clews Architects, Approved Architect for the Oxford, Coventry and Peterborough Diocese. He is a RIBA/AABC Accredited Architect for Building Conservation and a member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation.

With a background in both commercial and public sector projects since chartered membership in 1977, Andrew now specialises in historic building conservation, both in the UK and abroad, on both ecclesiastical and secular projects and has won a number of awards.
