 Guerrilla Tactics: Shaping Tomorrow's Practice

Small Practice CPD Day and Conference
17-18 November 2009 at the RIBA, 66 Portland Place, London W1

Guerrilla Tactics is the annual RIBA small practice event held over two days at the RIBA's London headquarters. Now in its sixth year, Guerrilla Tactics provides architects with a lively programme of CPD seminars, presentations and panel discussions with leading names from the architectural and commercial world. The conference provides relevant, new and stimulating content covering all aspects of running a micro-business. This year's event includes a full day of CPD seminars, an evening 'speed dating' event and a full conference day. It takes place on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 November and the title is Shaping Tomorrow's Practice.

CPD Day – Full Programme published

The programme for the CPD day is now available online:

This year's CPD day gives you first class seminars from industry leaders at a very reasonable price, and all at RIBA HQ. Plus by attending this and the conference day, you can gain 16 of your 19.5 hours of Core Curriculum CPD! The CPD day will provide you with sessions on important topics that you need to keep abreast of, from CDM, Building Regulations, and the latest developments in planning law, to Marketing, Presentation Skills and How to get paid.

Speed dating

Little and Large is an evening networking event (Tuesday 17 November) between small practice delegates and representatives of some of the largest architectural practices in the UK. Little and Large is a fantastic networking opportunity and is open only to those attending both days of Guerrilla Tactics. If you have ever been speed dating you'll know what's in store – you get the chance to seduce large practices into collaborating with you, but you have to hone your skills as you only get five minutes until you move on to the next one! Please note that places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

We are pleased to announce that the following large practices have confirmed their involvement in the Little and Large event:

Haskoll

Pascall & Watson

3DReid

Scurr & Partners

We hope to announce further large practice participants in due course.

As we previously announced, spaces for small practices are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. We have allocated spaces for 60 small practices, and we now only have a few spaces left, so if you wish to be involved make sure you book now to avoid disappointment! Participation is only open to delegates who have booked a 2 day ticket.
