Nick Willson

Nick studied at The Manchester School of Architecture and then The Bartlett School of Architecture before qualifying as an architect. He worked for Foster and Partners on various projects including Albion Wharf, the Millennium Bridge and the new GLA building. Following this, he worked for Buschow Henley and then MacCormac Jamieson Pritchard on the new BBC building at Portland place.

In 2004, Nick went on to be one of the founding directors of the Architecture and Design studio Willson & Bell.

Nick is a RIBA National Councilor, RIBA Professional Services Board member and a member of the RIBA international relations committee.  He is also involved in the RIBA Young Practitioners panel and sits on the Article 25 advisory board. 

In addition Nick is involved with the design for a new learning, resource and community centre project in Sierra Leone which is due to start on site in October 2008 along with the setting up of a new Architecture school in Sierra Leone.
