Richard Steer is the Senior Partner of Gleeds (UK), worldwide management and construction consultants.  He has been extensively involved in the sustainability agenda and is an active supporter of the RIBA Climate Change programme.

A quantity surveyor by training, Richard is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Association of Project Managers and a member of the Construction Management Association of America.  He has lectured extensively both at home and abroad on a variety of subjects, particularly procurement methods and alternative forms of contract.
