Christophe Egret studied architecture at the Architectural Association and is currently a Partner of Studio Egret West, a dynamic creative cross platform for architecture and urban design, which was set up with David West in 2004.

Christophe is leading the practice's input into the regeneration of Park Hill in Sheffield, the design of a science and technology park in Nottingham and the design of mixed use developments in London, Manchester, Middlesbrough and Liverpool, as well as overseas projects in Russia and South Africa.

He is a frequent lecturer in architectural matters and is a member of the CABE Design Review Panel. He also sits on advisory boards such as, the Islington International Festival, the Whitechapel Gallery and the educational programme 'Architects in Residence'.
