Jill Ritblat has a long association with the Tate Gallery, including involvement in acquisitions, international relations, events organisation and curating. She was Executive producer of the film 'Normal Conservative Rebels: Gilbert & George in China' (Edinburgh Film Festival, 1996; Gold Medal at Chicago Film Festival, 1996). She has been on the Development Committee of the Royal Academy of Music since 2002, and was a Turner Prize judge in 1988 and a RIBA Regional Awards assessor in 2001. She is married to John Ritblat, Chairman of The British Land Company plc.
