Stephen Phillips is an arts consultant, producer and journalist. He has been arts correspondent for Channel Four, and a radio presenter for BBC Radio 4. He has written widely on cultural subjects, particularly art and archaeology, and was a member of the Arts Council of England. As an arts consultant, his clients include The Royal Ballet and The Victoria and Albert Museum. He has served on the RIBA Communications Committee in 1999 and among his other contributions to the activities of the RIBA helped negotiate the televising of the Stirling Prize.
