The equipment to meet your needs
We have invested heavily in the latest audio-visual equipment to make sure we can meet the requirements for your meeting. We are constantly upgrading and reviewing our equipment and aim to ensure none of our equipment is more than two years old.
Steve Barrett-White, our in-house audio-visual consultant, is happy to advise on technical issues and will arrange a rehearsal before your meeting if you wish. You can contact him through the main RIBA Venues office on 020 7307 3888.
We do not allow clients to bring their own audio-visual equipment (with the exception of computers). Our equipment has been supplied and configured to work in all the different sizes of rooms and with all of the seating arrangements. It has been Portable Appliance Tested to ensure its safety, we have spares in house and we know our equipment well enough to provide full support.
Hiring a technical operator is recommended for large meetings in any rooms where amplification and projection facilities are both required.
We recommend the use of amplification equipment with microphones when the number of delegates reaches over 50.

Note - the Jarvis Hall
When hiring the Jarvis Hall our in-house technical operator is included in the hire charge of the hall (with the exception of evenings and weekends where a charge is incurred), as is use of amplification equipment and induction loop.
Hire of AV equipment is additional to the room hire charges, and is subject to VAT at 17.5%.
