The Lutyens Room is one of the building's most popular conference rooms. Light and airy, with windows and a balcony looking south, and portraits of RIBA past presidents lining the wall, the room is frequently used for committee meetings, information lunches and dinners, receptions and press launches. It includes a partitioned anteroom and can accommodate buffets for up to 70 and a seated dinner for up to 50.
Sir Edwin Lutyens was the leading British architect of the first half of the 20th century. He was responsible for many country houses, designing their gardens with Gertrude Jekyll, and spent 20 years masterplanning and designing New Delhi.
