This naturally-lit room is situated on the ground floor facing west on to Portland Place. It serves perfectly as a meeting room or breakout area for up to 20 delegates, with seating arranged theatre style and boardroom for 16, or as a refreshment area for delegates using the Jarvis Suite.
 
George Grey Wornum was the architect of the RIBA headquarters and winner of the RIBA Royal Gold Medal in 1952. His other major commissions included co-designing Clapton Greyhound Stadium in Hackney and the Ladbroke Grove Housing Estate, North Kensington.

Room hire rates 2008

Full day 9am-5pm: £250
Half day 9am-1pm or 2-5pm: £180
Evening 6-10pm: £250
 
A booking overlapping two sessions, even if of shorter duration, will incur additional charges and may be considered to be a full-day booking. Unauthorized over-running will also incur additional charges.
 
Room hire rates are exempt from VAT. Any additional equipment or service will be charged at the standard VAT rate. Registered charities receive a 10% discount on room hire rates.
