Who we are

Keith Snook
Director, Research and Technical 
 

Keith has a degree in Building Technology from Brunel University. After a grounding of some years working for general contractors he moved to research and spent 7 years at the Building Research Establishment, doing research on Project Information – CPI conventions, Achievement of Quality on site – NEDO report, and Quality Assurance for Construction Industries Directorate of DoE. Keith has also worked in practice, including 5 years as Technical Adviser and Quality Manager for multidisciplinary design practice YRM Partnership Limited, and 3 years running his own consultancy, mainly in Quality Management and technical issues.
Working at the RIBA since 1995, he has been Assistant Director of Practice Standards, Director of Practice, and has become the first Director of Research and Development.
Keith attends RIBA Council, Professional Services Board and Research Committee. 

In 2008 Keith was nominated to become an Honorary member of CIAT in recognition for his services to the industry.

 

Clare Sinclair
Knowledge Management Projects Officer

Clare has worked at the RIBA since 2008, with previous experience of working in a number of information roles in universities, commercial organisations, and government departments. Clare is assisting the RIBA in establishing itself as the Knowledge Management resource for the architects' profession, including leading on the RIBA Knowledge Communities project.

Clare has a BA Hons (University of York), MA Librarianship (distinction - University of Sheffield), and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (MCLIP).

 

Bethany Winning
R&D Administrator

Bethany graduated in 2007 and started working for the RIBA shortly afterwards. Bethany manages all aspects of the President's Awards for Research, and the Research Symposium, including administration, organisation, marketing and sponsorship, as well as being responsible for the R&D Committee.
