I.M. Pei, best known in Europe for his transformation of the Louvre in Paris, will receive the Royal Gold Medal 2010 at the RIBA on Thursday 11 February. This prestigious black tie event will also include the presentation of the RIBA International and RIBA Honorary Fellowships 2010.
The Royal Gold Medal was inaugurated by Queen Victoria in 1848 and is given in recognition of a liftetime's work. The Medal is approved personally by Her Majesty the Queen and is given to a person or group of people who have had a significant influence 'either directly or indirectly on the advancement of architecture'.

Fees:
Tickets are £141 inc VAT each. Tables are made up of 10 guests. Tickets sold on a first come first served basis, there are still come tickets available.
(From 1/1/10 onwards VAT is charged at 17.5%)
