28 March 2007
Venue:
London
Description:
This year's LSC Client Forum Conference sponsored by Balfour Beatty brought together both clients and design professionals in the FE sector to understand and embrace current strategic issues.
Chaired by Andy Wilson, the new chair of the Forum, speakers included Bill Rammell MP, Minister of State for Lifelong Learning, Further and Higher Education, who presented the keynote address to the conference.
The conference examined three main themes;
the changing agenda regarding the vocational education of 14-19 year olds; innovative practice including 'e-learning', and the implications of the Leitch Report, commissioned in 2006 to look into the UK's skill requirement to 2020.
