The event will include an afternoon debate and guided tour of the hospital.

Speaking of the event, Bill Murray, Chair of the RIBA Health Client Forum stated

"Healing environments, single rooms, arts programmes, quality landscaping and the innovating use of old health care sites are all important ingredients in modern health care design.

The new £25 million Walkergate Park Centre in Newcastle has all of these blended into a most exciting rehabilitation campus.

The RIBA Health Client Forum has arranged one of its present series of study days at the Walkergate site on the 14 November. These study days, which are highly interactive and where active learning and feedback is proving to be of great benefit to Client, Designers and Constructors. Places are limited so book now.'
