09 - 10 November 2011
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Venue:
66 Portland Place, London
Description:
Guerrilla Tactics, now in its eighth year, is the RIBA's Annual Small Practice Conference, held at the Institute's headquarters at 66, Portland Place London W1B 1AD.
The theme for Guerrilla Tactics 2011 is specialisation - what is your practice's USP and how can you use it to stand out from the crowd? What can small practices specialise in, and how do they go about it?
There will be a series of case studies from practices which have strategically positioned themselves as specialists, whether this is in an area of expertise such as sustainability or conservation, working in a particular sector or with a particular type of client.
9 November is the CPD day, with a chance to attend a mixture of six different seminars covering a variety of topics.
10 November is the conference day, and includes the popular 'live pitch' session to close proceedings.
