Guerrilla Tactics 2011

The programme| for Guerrilla Tactics 2011 is now available.

Guerrilla Tactics, now in its eighth year, is the RIBA's
annual small practice conference. It is held at the 
Institute's HQ, 66 Portland Place.

In 2011 Guerrilla Tactics took place on 9 and 10 November.

The theme for Guerrilla Tactics 2011 was specialisation -
what is your practice's USP and how can you use it to
stand out from the crowd? What can small practices
specialise in, and how do they go about it?

There was a series of case studies from practices that have strategically positioned themselves as specialists.

9 November was the CPD day, with a chance to attend a mixture of six different seminars covering a variety of topics.

10 November was the conference day, and included the popular 'live pitch' session to close proceedings.

Based on the survey conducted after Guerrilla Tactics 2010:

• 100% of the delegates agreed that they would attend Guerrilla Tactics again and recommend it to a friend or colleague
• 95% said Guerrilla Tactics was good value for money
• 87% agreed that attending Guerrilla Tactics would affect the way they did their job
