RIBA/Arts Inform 'Architects in Residence' programme
The Architects in Residence programme developed by the RIBA in partnership with Arts Inform, is designed to give CPD support to architects intending to work with teachers on school based projects.

The programme provides guidance on the formation of practitioner partnerships between architects and teachers and a framework for the planning of school-based projects, in the form of a handbook. It also provides reference material from previous exemplar projects.

Architects in Residence CPD Partnership Training/Planning Session Handbook
This handbook is designed to support an architect and a teacher who are intending to work in partnership on an architecture and the built environment project for school students.

This handbook may be used by an individual architect and a teacher who are working together on the basis of an autonomous initiative.

Or it may be used as part of a training session organised by an agency which has established a programme involving several architecture practices and schools.

The Handbook consists of the following documents:

1. Agenda for Training Session
2. Example of an Outline Programme Plan
3. Training Handbook
4. Preparatory Briefing Note
