Description:
A series of large scale photographs of Battersea Power Station, made in 2006 and 2007 by artist Michael Collins, provides a fascinating and faithful account of this British landmark as it exists today. Collins applies the principles of Record Picture photography to his images – placing an emphasis on clear, unadorned description – a practice that, for many years, has been employed by architects and civil engineers.
