Architect in the House is the hugely successful fundraising initiative run by the RIBA and Shelter, in which RIBA chartered architects give up their time to offer free hour-long consultations to homeowners in return for a suggested donation to Shelter.
Whether it’s building an extension, knocking through a wall or a complete renovation, the scheme is a fantastic opportunity for homeowners to discuss their ideas with an RIBA chartered architect while raising money for Shelter’s work with homeless and badly housed families.
Homeowners and architects can register to take part in Architect in the House via our dedicated website. Matching will be made on a regular basis throughout the scheme, which closes in August.
To avoid missing out on consultations, the RIBA is urging its architects to register at the earliest possible opportunity from 12 March 2013.
Now in its 17th year, Architect in the House has raised over £1.5 million for Shelter.
