Le Corbusier Season

Complementing 'Le Corbusier – The Art of Architecture' is an engaging programme of events, providing a wider perspective on Le Corbusier, his work, influences and legacy. Launching at the Venice Biennale, the Corbusier Season includes talks, debates, displays and a symposium across a range of themes, in Venice, Liverpool and London.

Events include:

• Seminars at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2008, Saturday 13 September

• Le Corbusier Lives! Talks Season: Four talks in Liverpool, with speakers from Peter Eisenman to Balkrishna Doshi, October – November

• Towards a New Urbanism ­– An International Symposium on the 21st Century City, Liverpool, 25-27 November, with The Academy of Urbanism
• Le Corbusier Lecture at the AA: Panel discussion at the Architectural Association, London, 28 November
• The Olympic Stadium Project – Le Corbusier and Baghdad: Display at the V&A, London, 9 October 2008 - 29 March 2009
• On the Menu: Le Corbusier Library Workshops, RIBA, by appointment.
