Late in his career, Le Corbusier was given the opportunity to design a new hospital for Venice. For this unique environment, this project called for novel solutions. Lessons learned elsewhere had to be re-shaped. Unexecuted, Le Corbusier’s master plan shifted architecture on an international level.
This workshop builds on the launch event for the Le Corbusier Season, held in partnership with the Istituto Universitario di Architettura Venezia. To be held in Venice, where the original drawings and models of the hospital still survive, a world-renowned panel of experts discuss their significance. Find out their opinions and form your own on this intriguing project.
