A film about the editor-in-chief of Harpers Bazaar and Vogue as well as a consultant to the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art who, during her fifty year reign as the "Empress of Fashion", launched the career of Twiggy, advised Jackie Onassis and established countless trends that remain part of popular culture until today. This documentary, won the fashion category in the Design Museum’s Designs of the Year 2013.

Having moved from publishing to high-end retail, Reed has spanned the industry. She was inspired by fellow fashion editor, Diana Vreeland who defined an era in fashion and the media without being pretentious, "just
