Opening the RIBA’s new Practice Space, this exhibition will examine how each of the 27 unique Crossrail stations within Greater London integrates into their respective urban environments.

For each station an urban realm study has been prepared detailing a range of urban realm improvements, including: new public spaces, improved transport interchanges and increased public safety.  The urban realm plans envisaged for individual stations will form the basis of this display, and models of some of the stations will also be showcased.  Twelve Over Site Developments (OSDs) that will supplement the integration of Crossrail within central London will also be presented here.

The exhibition will demonstrate how future Crossrail passengers will judge the success of their journey by their experiences of the spaces outside the stations, as they arrive and leave.
