From the drama of the Pompidou in Paris and the Reichstag in Berlin this generation of architects have made their mark on our built world in a way unlike any other before or since.

In conversation features Norman Foster, Richard Rogers, Terry Farrell, Nicholas Grimshaw & Michael and Patty Hopkins.

This event will be broadcast by BBC Radio 3’s Free Thinking programme.
