Family Fun: Landmarks and Icons

21 February 2014

11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Venue:

66 Portland Place, London, W1B 1AD

Description:

A workshop for families.

London… Mumbai… Beijing. How does architecture define a city?

The whole family is invited to RIBA HQ to help us create a new set of architectural landmarks. We will explore iconic buildings from cities across the globe before cutting, sticking and colouring our own large-scale 3D city.

RIBA architecture workshops inspire children, young people and families to learn more about architecture and how it shapes our lives. All workshops have been inspired by the Brits Who Built the Modern World season and are led by professional educators. Materials are provided.

Part of a season of exhibitions and events inspired the BBC series The Brits Who Built the Modern World
