RIBA Trust spring programme

The RIBA Trust launches the autumn programme of talks, lectures and exhibitions.



Exhibitions


Exhibition highlights include the entries in to the annual Architectural Review Awards 'Emerging Architecture' and 'Arabia Felix – The Architecture of Yemen', a celebration of this country's spectacular architectural heritage.

Other highlights include:

  • Back to the Future: Sir Basil Spence (1907-76) celebrating the centenary of the birth of Sir Basil Spence, this exhibition focusses on his most important buildings and projects.
  • Ton Matton - Surviving the Suburb: The Climate Machine an installation looking at how we might respond to the transformation bought about by climate change in our cities.
  • Architects in Practice: The Photographs of Tim Soar

Admission to exhibitions are free. If planning a visit on a visit on a Saturday or late weekday afternoon, it is advisable to call 020 7307 3888 before your visit.

Highlights

Talks highlights include the Royal Gold Medal Lecture 2008 given by Edward Cullinan and the 'Emerging Architecture' talks series bringing young architects to speak about their winning and commended entries into this competition.

The continuation of the major programme 'International Dialogues: Architecture and Climate Change', in partnership with One Planet Living® includes:
