International Dialogues: Architecture and Climate Change - Satish Kumar with Tony Juniper

Description:

Satish Kumar eminent peace campaigner, editor of Resurgence magazine and founder and Director of Programmes of the Schumacher College International Centre for Ecological Studies will discuss his visions for the 21st century and the role of architecture in helping to create more ecologically responsible societies. Satish Kumar teaches, lectures and runs workshops internationally on reverential ecology, holistic education and voluntary simplicity.

In November 2001, Satish Kumar was presented with the Jamnalal Bajaj International Award for Promoting Gandhian Values.

Tony Juniper, Executive Director of Friends of the Earth, will be joining Satish Kumar to respond and discuss the issues.
