The RIBA Trust Annual Lecture 2009, in this the RIBA's 175th Anniversary year, was delivered on Tuesday 12 May by HRH The Prince of Wales. This follows the presentation in February, by HM The Queen of the Royal Gold Medal to Álvaro Siza - only the fourth time in her reign that The Queen has presented the medal personally.
The RIBA Trust Annual Lecture is given by a non-architect, on a subject of direct relevance to the built environment.
