Discover the secrets of the RIBA's headquarters at 66 Portland Place with a group guided tour of the building. Over the course of an hour you will take in the building's fascinating history, stunning 1930s Art Deco architecture and unravel curious stories with our dedicated tour guides. Pitched to your group, these tours are a perfect activity for everyone from seasoned architects and design professionals to lifelong learning groups and those with an interest in London's rich and diverse history.

If you have a little more time, why not combine a guided tour with an additional look at highlights from our world-class collections based in our Library at 66 Portland Place. The collections contain rare items from the 1400s to the present day spanning the world and covering a host of subjects, so no matter what your interest, this session will captivate.

Rates (prices include VAT):

  • Guided tour only £10 per person
  • Guided tour + collections highlights, £15 per person

Both options available Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm (Tuesday 10am to 7pm). Group bookings are for a minimum of seven people. To book, please contact us at least three weeks before your intended visit:

Public Building tours 2016 

66 Portland Place Inside/Out 

Take a guided tour of our Grade II* headquarters to find out what goes on behind our Portland stone façade. Tours take place 2.30pm-3.30pm on the second and last Saturday of every month:
