Group induction at the Library

Gain a deeper insight into our collections and how to get the most out of your visit by coming along to one of our inductions.

Groups of up to 20 can book a one-hour library induction which includes a short introduction to our collections, services and resources available to users, as well as a tour of our library, and a practical session looking at a selection of items from our collections.

We have a collection of over four million items ranging from 17th-century drawings to photographs from the 19th century to the present, journals from around the world, 15th-century books and intriguing architectural archives. Whatever your special interest and purpose – academic studies or leisure activity – there will be something to capture your curiosity. Bespoke workshops can be arranged to view and investigate materials from our collection.
