This RIBA member tour is an exclusive insight into the inner workings and construction methods used on the second phase of this impressive development.

The tour will be led by the Head of Design for the Gateway Project and this is a live construction site and protective equipment required but will be provided by Network Rail.

New Street is the busiest station outside London, with over 140,000 passengers using the facility every day. The first section of the new station opened in April 2013, providing a fantastic experience for visitors. The next phase of the project is now underway, with 1,000 workers currently on site, working 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
