Join colleagues and friends for the RIBA South West Annual Open Meeting 2014 at Torquay with a triple bill programme and drinks and nibbles – all on the English Riviera. This event to celebrate progress made by the regional members and branches will include the official handover of the regional chair from Tim Hancock to Jonathan Braddick.
Talk ‘n’ Tour: Abbey Sands by Torquay-based Kay Elliott Architects is six-storey mixed-use development and includes four restaurants, 14 open market apartments and 14 serviced apartments with parking. Architects from Kay Elliott's will take guests around the complex, reavealing the architecture and construction.
Election 2015: RIBA Head of External Affairs Anna Scott-Marshall will host an interactive session on how RIBA members in the South West can be part of the 2015 General Election campaign, including presenting the RIBA Building a Better Britain report that underlies the campaign. The RIBA can seek to influence prpsepctive candidates and existing MPs, and this session will help you to be part of that essential political process.
This event is a must-attend event for RIBA members and colleagues looking to hear about progress, want to input to future progress, or simply want to enjoy a relaxing evening at Torquay’s newest architecture.
