Salary: £17,640-20,226 pro rata
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 28 hours per week, fixed-term contract until 31 August 2018

The RIBA is looking for an experienced arts or heritage education administrator to oversee day-to-day delivery of the RIBA National Schools Programme to 90 schools across the country (outside London).

The RIBA National Schools Programme is in the final year of a three-year pilot. To date, the programme has engaged more than 4000 children and young people in primary and secondary schools across England. The Schools Programme is managed by RIBA Learning (based at 66 Portland Place, London) and is delivered by Architecture Ambassadors, RIBA members who work in partnership with teachers to develop collaborative and creative projects that give school children insight into architecture.

The Regional Coordinator will coordinate and deliver RIBA CPD-accredited training sessions for participating teachers and architects; will build and manage positive relationships between participating schools and Architecture Ambassadors; will support the Learning Manager for Schools & Young People to deliver an end-of-year exhibition of student work in London. The post will be based in Birmingham with travel to surrounding region and London.
