Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Location: 76 Portland Place
Hours: 35 hours per week, Full time, Fixed Term 12 months

The RIBA is seeking to appoint a new Finance Manager (Expenditure) to the finance team at the RIBA HQ in Portland Place, London. The role will manage a team of two Finance Officers and one Finance Trainee (Apprentice) and will report to Financial Controller. The role will be pivotal in establishing close working relationships between the RIBA suppliers, RIBA trustees and the RIBA.

The post-holder will ensure all aspects of expenditure paid by RIBA are processed accurately and controls and systems in place are operating effectively. They will manage and oversee the day to day activities of purchase ledger and RIBA corporate cards, and help the Financial Controller in bank/balance sheet reconciliations.

The role will suit someone with significant experience in purchase ledger management and ideally with an AAT qualification or equivalent. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of both commercial and not-for-profit environments, have excellent communication skills, and sufficient gravitas to work comfortably with senior colleagues.

This is an exciting time for the Institute and this post will form a pivotal role in enabling change.
