The Bar at 66 Portland Place

Our Bauhaus bar at 66 Portland Place offers a dedicated space for architects and friends to meet and socialise in the RIBA’s landmark headquarters building. The room has been designed as a nod to the architectural style, and all the colours are based on the Bauhaus movement.

Perfect for a quick drink before one of our talks and events or for letting off steam after a day in the office, the bar is open to members, guests and the wider public, with a 20% discount for RIBA Members and Friends with a flash of your membership card.

The bar serves up reasonably priced beer, wine, spirits, soft drinks and bar snacks, with food available from the adjacent RIBA café. A stylish, pared back aesthetic makes it a welcome respite from the bustle of the West End.

The opening hours are 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Wednesdays when it closes at 5pm.

Available for private hire by prior arrangement with our venues team.
