Reconfiguration and extension of a farmstead. The clients were looking to modernise and extend a farmstead to suit their lifestyle and meet their family needs. The project involved a complete reconfiguration of the main building creating a bright open plan interior with much improved energy efficiency. A new largely glazed, single storey extension was added to the side to enjoy views over the hilly landscape of East Lancashire from the living area. The converted outbuildings house a gym, home cinema and an additional self-contained residential unit.
