Masterplan for a motorsports and leisure venue in Nigeria. Driven International are pleased to be working with brand and marketing agency EMC3 Nigeria, on behalf of Ogun State to design a new motorsport development near Abeokuta, Nigeria. Following visits to the site and personal meetings with Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, work is now firmly underway to develop the initial master plan which will assess the technical and financial viability of the project and help to shape the offering of a new motorsport hub, which is expected to include a variety of automotive training and education facilities. “Our aim is to develop Ogun State as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for job creation and training” , said Baba-Jallah Epega, EMC3 Chairman and Founder. The 500Ha development is also expected to include other sports and leisure activities as well as onsite accommodation to support the development and create a new exciting attraction for the people of Ogun State and Nigeria. Driven International have already pencilled a site layout, which includes a number of track permutations which will be FIA compliant, as well as areas for vehicle testing, karting and off-road zones. The initial circuit plan has been designed to make best use of the site’s natural undulations, set against a picturesque backdrop.
