39A Belsize Lane , London , NW3 5AA , United Kingdom

A development with a commercial area; comprising of a ground floor flat which opens onto a rear patio, eight two-bedroomed flats arranged over four floors, and a three bedroomed penthouse. The building shares the staircase and the lift with the neighbouring building. The street facing flats overlook a park while the rears facing ones have a view towards the city centre. The size of the windows and their low parapet is derived from traditional London residential buildings and the proportions of the sashes relate to the pattern of the external brick wall. The house is equipped with solar thermal panels for water heating, a green roof, rainwater harvesting and a grey water-recycling unit.
