Renovation of the historic Gaumont Cinema originally built in1937-8. The cinema became an Odeon in 1962 and was converted into 3 screens in 1973 and into 8 screens during the 1980’s. McFarlane Latter have recently completed a renovation under the Odeon Luxe brand into a 7 screens cinema reinstating the original entrance foyer bar. All screen rooms were updated to modern acoustic, projection and seating standards.
