Staggered side return and rear additions to a semi-detached house in Leytonstone expand its living space and connect it with the garden. The design sympathetically combines contemporary features with traditional styling, using natural light to brighten up the internal space through multiple skylights and floor to ceiling doors. Opening glass corner leads onto the garden with the roof dramatically floating in mid air. Our involvement from the first sketch through regular site inspections during construction to completion ensured the continuity of the idea and high quality of detail in the finished article.
