A Cornish gentleman's house built just before the Civil War but which had been in decline for the last 300 years. Our work transformed the house with modern services, a family kitchen and new bathrooms. An extension allows the house to open up into the garden. The extension follows the principles and spirit of 17th century architectural design and is built of the local materials: granite, "killas" and slate. The grounds and garden were remodelled and feature an oak and granite summerhouse.
