NOTES: This drawing is numbered XII/7 in the Burlington-Devonshire Collection. The Arch of Gallienus, formerly known as the Porta Esquilina, in now thought to date from the fourth century BC. The archway of the gate was rededicated in 262 as the Arch of Gallienus.
