NOTES:
This image is part of a photo shoot for Woman’s Own magazine in November and December of 1957. Alma Cogan’s flat was known to be 44 Stafford Court, Kensington High Street, London, but an office note in the photographer’s daybook gives the location as Seymour Place. So whether this is actually in her Kensington flat and there is a mistake in the daybook, or whether this was a set-up elsewhere is unclear.
