Notes NOTES: This image was formerly attributed to Giovanni Paolo Panini (1691 or 2-1765) and may depict a stage set from the time of Panini's apprenticeship to the school of Bibiena known for their Baroique stage and theatre designs. Alternatively it has been suggested that this design may have originated from the Bolognese School.
