Notes NOTES: This perspective of the proposed Whitehall Palace was drawn by Elias Ferris made from sketches by John Webb and reconstruction by William Kent. It was one of two additional plates for the second edition of the collected designs first published in 1727. It appears in Volume I of 'The Designs of Inigo Jones, consisting of plans and elevations for publick and private buildings' (London, 1770), pl. 1*.
