NOTES:
This is the only building in Alvar Aalto's plan for the centre of Helsinki (1961-1972) to have been completed. Commissioned by the City of Helsinki, the concert halls (Finlandia Hall and the smaller auditorium, Helsinki Hall) were completed in 1971 and the adjacent conference centre wing in 1975.
