NOTES: Sebastian Zamet (or Sebastiano Zametti), a financier from Lucca who came to France in the train of Catherine de Medicis, began his town house in the rue de la Cerisaie near the Arsenal and the Bastille, in 1595. This drawing shows part of the earliest building. The Hotel Zamet-Lesdiguieres was demolished in 1877 during the construction of the boulevard Henri IV.
